ABOUT THIS VISA:

The contributory aged parent visa (subclass 864) allows an aged parent of an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen to stay permanently in Australia on a temporary visa. However, the parent must be present in Australia while applying for this visa.
